• Gillian Henderson
    Operations Manager and Company Secretary

    Gillian re-joined the financial services industry in 2015 after a 15-year break when she worked for a personal development company in international and commercial contracts roles. 

    She graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1994 before spending several years in financial services, retail banking and subsidiary banking service provision.

    Her focus in our business is to manage and improve all operational matters including systems, finance, contracts, buildings and utilities, and HR.

    Gillian lives in Perthshire with her husband, 2 children and 2 cats. She enjoys cooking, attending boot camp and holidays (particularly in France!)

  • Moira Hanning

    Moira joined MDFPS in March 2020 on returning home to Dundee after living in Yorkshire for several years.

    She spent the earlier part of her career in banking, investment management and compliance and has been a paraplanner for the last 15 years. She holds a BA (Hons) in Financial Services from Napier University and the CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (QCF).

    In her spare time Moira likes keeping fit, walking, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

  • Ashley Strachan

    Ashley joined in July 2019 after spending the previous 6 years in investment management.

    She holds CISI Level 4 - Diploma in Investment Advice (Financial Planning & Advice).

    In her spare time she likes to spend time with family and friends, usually getting out for a nice long walk. Ashley also likes travelling and seeing new places.

  • Gillian Donnachie
    Mortgage and Protection Coordinator

    Gillian joined MDFPS in 2017 having gained experience with various banking institutions over the previous 14 years.

    She has a keen eye for detail and a friendly, approachable manner – and nothing pleases her more than when a complex case is concluded satisfactorily!

    When not at work Gillian enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym and cooking.

  • Kerstyn Johnson
    Financial Planning Coordinator

    Kerstyn has been with the business since November 2018 having started a financial services career with Prudential a year prior. She is working towards further industry qualifications.

    In her spare time Kerstyn enjoys spending her days with her sausage dog Rex, running and spending time with her family. 

    Her claim to fame would be meeting the Queen at 7 years old with a bouquet of flowers.

  • Claire Middleton
    Customer Services Coordinator

    Claire joined the team in January 2021 during the pandemic. It was challenging to learn a new job while mainly working from home however she settled in well.

    She previously worked in the banking industry and was with Clydesdale Bank for 14 years. Claire is looking forward to a new challenge and possibly looking to gain qualifications in the industry.

    When not at work she looks after her teenage daughter and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She likes walking, swimming and watching true crime dramas and documentaries.

  • Lewis Clark
    Graduate Apprentice

    Lewis joined the business at the end of August 2022 as a graduate apprentice.

    He left school last summer and is currently studying Business Management with Industrial Experience at Dundee University.

    In his spare time he enjoys going to Dens Park to support Dundee F.C., and also playing football or cricket with friends.

  • Ryan Hegarty
    Foundation Apprentice

    Ryan is the most recent addition of the team having joined us in Septmber 2022. He aims to further develop his administration skills and help out wherever he can in the work place.

    In his spare time he likes travelling places in Scotland with friends, going for dinner with his girlfriend, working out at the gym, and going for drives with his mum.

  • Mandy Bremner

    Mandy assists Kevin and has been with MDFPS since 2016. She has many years’ experience within the financial services industry having worked for a number of banks and building societies, and likes to deal with every enquiry in a professional manner – “receiving a compliment about our service from clients is a fantastic feeling”. 


    It’s a passion she adopted from an early age, gaining her first working experience at 13, helping in the hotel run by her parents. (A claim to fame is that she shares the experience of working for her father with one of the Bay City Rollers!)

    Outside of work, Mandy enjoys swimming, travel and gin.

  • Catherine Mansfield
    Office Manager (N.Ireland)

    Catherine joined us in April 2018.

    She began her career in the civil service but has worked as a clothing manufacturer buyer and various positions in building societies before spending the most recent 16 years in the education sector to enable a balance with raising her 3 children.

    Catherine spends her free time walking their German Shepherd, Cleo, and loves travelling – especially going on cruises – not to mention having her grown up children home to visit.

    Catherine’s claim to fame is being invited to and attending a reception in 10 Downing Street by the Prime Minister, Tony Blair, in 2008 in recognition of her services to education.

  • Jamie Mansfield
    Trainee Paraplanner

    Jamie is a Trainee Paraplanner and currently undertaking his Level 4 exams. He eventually plans to have the role of Financial Adviser.

    He spent 4 years at Herriot Watt University completing a Master’s degree in International Business Studies.

    Jamie likes to travel and has a keen interest in football.
