• Gillian Henderson
    Operations Manager and Company Secretary

    Gillian re-joined the financial services industry in 2015 after 15 years working for a personal development company in international and commercial contracts roles. She holds a Masters degree in Geography from the University of Glasgow.

    Her focus in the business is to manage and improve all operational matters including systems, finance, contracts, buildings and utilities, and HR.

    The rest of Gillian’s time is spent with her children and doing some running.

  • Gillian Donnachie
    Mortgage and Protection Coordinator

    Gillian joined MDFPS in 2017 having gained experience with various banking institutions over the previous 14 years.

    She has a keen eye for detail and a friendly, approachable manner – and nothing pleases her more than when a complex case is concluded satisfactorily!

    When not at work Gillian enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym and cooking.

    She has once dance on stage with Showaddywaddy and firmly believes in the saying “If you don’t ask you don’t get!!”

  • Shirley Swayne
    Client Services Administrator

    Shirley is our office administrator. Originally from Dundee, she is responsible for the smooth running of our office and has been the friendly voice that greets you on the end of the phone since she started with us in 2015. She prides herself on providing a friendly and approachable service and enjoys the client contact.

    Having worked within the Local Authority for 26 years, Shirley brings a vast amount of office experience to the role and will continue to ensure that we deliver a high-quality service to our clients. In her spare time, Shirley enjoys travelling, going to the theatre _ “and trying out new gins!” – and is a keen bargain hunter!

  • Mandy Bremner

    Mandy assists Kevin and has been with MDFPS since 2016. She has many years’ experience within the financial services industry having worked for a number of banks and building societies, and likes to deal with every enquiry in a professional manner – “receiving a compliment about our service from clients is a fantastic feeling”. 


    It’s a passion she adopted from an early age, gaining her first working experience at 13, helping in the hotel run by her parents. (A claim to fame is that she shares the experience of working for her father with one of the Bay City Rollers!)

    Outside of work, Mandy enjoys swimming, travel and gin.

  • Christopher Mansfield
    Paraplanner (N.Ireland)

    Christopher has supported Rob as an administrator and paraplanner for the past five years.

    He graduated from the University of Ulster with a degree in Business Studies and holds a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.

    In Christopher’s free time, he enjoys travelling and seeing the world, but his passion is football. He plays competitive football weekly and is involved with Maiden City Soccer, a local football academy. Through this platform, he encourages the development of young players by coaching the under-10 age players in local primary schools.  He has also been called upon to assist in this year’s Foyle Cup, a European premier youth football tournament.


  • Catherine Mansfield
    Office Manager (N.Ireland)

    Catherine recently joined April 2018.

    She began her career in the civil service but has worked as a clothing manufacturer buyer and various positions in building societies before spending the most recent 16 years in the education sector to enable a balance with raising her 3 children.

    Catherine spends her free time walking their German Shepherd, Cleo, and loves travelling – especially going on cruises – not to mention having her grown up children home to visit.

    Catherine’s claim to fame is being invited to and attending a reception in 10 Downing Street by the Prime Minister, Tony Blair, in 2008 in recognition of my services to education.
