David is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, Chartered Wealth Manager, and has a wealth of experience advising clients regarding their financial planning. Furthermore, he can provide financial advice that is specific to medical and dental professionals, including NHS/University Pension Schemes, Lifetime Allowance and GP Locum Insurance.
He is a part-time associate on the University of Dundee's Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
Along with specialist Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications in Retirement & Pension Transfer Planning and Investment Planning, David holds a degree in BSc in Mathematical Science. David is married with two children and when time permits he enjoys spending time cycling and hillwalking.

Jim is a financial advice professional with over 35 years of experience in the industry. He has worked across the U.K. with many well-known brands such as L&G, M&G, Scottish Widows and HSBC.
Joining MDFPS has given him the opportunity to bring his experience closer to his hometown of Dundee and the surrounding area. Jim believes that understanding his clients’ needs and goals fully helps him in guiding them to the best outcomes, so getting to know people is what he enjoys most.
Jim holds a Diploma in Financial Advice, DipFA from the LIBF and a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice, CeMAP.
In his free time, he enjoys painting and drawing along with cooking. He is married with one son.
Lewis joined the business in August 2022 as a Graduate Apprentice and gained his Investment Advice Diploma qualification with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in March 2025.
This is a very admiral achievement given that he works almost full time in the office and is also in the final year of a Business Management with Industrial Experience degree at Dundee University. He is also currently studying for the Certified Financial Planner exams.
Lewis has displayed a very strong work ethic in addition to delivering first class customer service.
In his spare time, he enjoys going to Dens Park to support Dundee F.C., coaching youngsters at cricket, and also playing football or cricket with friends.
