Job Description:
A qualified and experienced individual is required to support financial planners with paraplanning, research and advice preparation for clients within a HNW niche market.
Work Hours
Full or part time considered.
Key Tasks
- Research and preparation of financial plans including reviews and suitability letters in line with company advice process and compliance framework
- Assisting with analysis of client ongoing reviews including wealth management
- Preparation and processing of valuations, suitability reports and applications
- Deal with client and provider correspondence and other administration requirements
- Maintain back office / CRM system with all client information, activities and fees
- Carrying out all tasks in a manner consistent with compliance procedures
- Develop excellent working relationships with business team members, clients, third party providers and other associated professionals
- Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and identify any improvements required
- Participate in appropriate company and industry training or development, including maintaining and extending qualifications

Previous experience within an IFA environment with a good knowledge of all advice genres |
Excellent organisational and prioritising skills |
Previous experience of working with clients from the medical and dental professions |
Experience of conducting investment and financial plan research |
Knowledge of cashflow planning, investment research systems |
Excellent verbal and written communication skills |
Experience of CRM systems and wrap/platforms |
Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail |
Knowledge of defined benefit pensions and money purchase schemes |
Team player but also self-motivated and able to work on own initiative |
Able to identify process improvements |
Able to communicate and influence at all levels |
Capable of developing relationships with providers and leveraging those when required |
Strong awareness and understanding of compliance legislation and requirements |
Able to assist with training and coaching of colleagues |
Excellent IT skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook |
